Graduate Assistant, Coordinator, Design for Health (DFH)
As part of the DFH team, Aly Pennucci serves as the project coordinator and is the first point of contact providing technical assistance to communities funded by the project. Pennucci also assists in creating model ordinances and comprehensive-plan language, developing the Web site and its Resource Library. She joined us while pursuing a master’s degree in urban and regional planning at the University of Minnesota. She brings with her an interest in land-use and transportation planning, growth management and environmental planning.
Prior to her work on the DFH project, Pennucci worked as an academic office manager, research assistant, database developer and grant manager. She also interned with Greenbelt Alliance, a land-conservation and urban-planning nonprofit in the Bay Area.
Pennucci is a Master of Urban and Regional Planning graduate of Hubert H. Humphrey Institute, University of Minnesota, and has a B.A. in Urban Studies, San Francisco State University.
