Joanne Richardson

Joanne is the website coordinator for the Design For Health project, ensuring that the technical infrastructure and website design support the Design For Health mission.
Prior to starting her Masters of Landscape Architecture, Joanne worked as Systems Analyst and Multimedia Developer for a number of years, and continued that work at the Metropolitan Design Center during her studies at the University of Minnesota . She has found that this diverse skill base puts her in a unique position to support multi-disciplinary planning and design initiatives.
Her professional interests in both the digital and physical realms include sustainable design, and functionality through simplicity. She is also interested in investigating the interface between the digital and physical worlds especially using the concepts of Web 2.0 social networking and wiki technologies.
