Two Harbors
Two Harbors, located 20 miles northeast of Duluth, MN, is situated on the North Shore of Lake Superior along Trunk Highway 61. This community of 3,600 residents recently completed a trail plan for the community which includes an eleven mile trail system connecting the city's neighborhoods, business districts, waterfront, and new high school.
The City of Two Harbors used funds from a BlueCross BlueShield of Minnesota Active Community Planning grant to incorporate active living principles into the city's comprehensive plan.
