Shoreview
Shoreview is a suburban community located 10 miles northwest of St. Paul and is home to 27,000 residents. Shoreview is 12.2 square miles and is almost built out, consisting primarily of residential uses. It has 11 lakes and 1,400 acres of parkland and open space. Shoreview offers a variety of housing choices and is easily accessible to downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Shoreview is using funds from the BCBSMN Active Community Planning grant to incorporate active living principles into its comprehensive plan, specifically as they relate to land use, transportation and parks and open space.
