Led by Dianne Neumark-Sztainer of the University of Minnesota the EAT project is a long-term study looking at a panel of young people and investigating their eating, physical activity, and weight control behavior. EAT-III adds two new cohorts to earlier EAT-I and EAT-II studies. Ann Forsyth’s role is to develop and coordinate measures of the built environment. She is collaborating with the Minnesota Population Center’s GIS core.
